The CLOUD7 Alaska Dachshund Coat is an extra-warm and responsibly made winter coat specially designed for Dachshunds. Made from 100% sustainable materials, this timeless light olive coat is insulated with soft, down-look Eco-Puffer filling made from recycled PET bottles instead of animal down.

The Dachshund specific fit is designed to accommodate the breed’s long back and distinctive body shape. The coat features an extended back section as well as chest and belly protection, helping to keep your Dachshund warm and protected during cold winter walks.

An elasticated section helps keep the coat securely in place while your dog is running, walking or sniffing around. The comfortable design allows maximum freedom of movement without the coat slipping out of position.

The Alaska Dachshund coat provides reliable protection against cold and wintry weather. Its Eco-Puffer filling is made from 100% recycled polyester, providing warmth without the use of animal down.

Waterproof and practical dog coat

The Alaska winter coat is designed to protect your dog in wet and changeable weather. The outer fabric is made from 100% recycled polyester with a polyurethane membrane and has a 20,000 mm water column rating, providing excellent protection against rain and moisture.

A long, waterproof 2-way zip runs along the back, making the coat easy to put on and allowing easy access to both a harness and collar underneath. The waterproof zipper is sewn directly into the material without a contrasting colour, creating a clean and understated look.

The coat is easy to put on and adjust thanks to the hook-and-loop fasteners.

Care instructions

• Close all zips and hook-and-loop fasteners before washing. Do not overfill the washing machine.
• To help prevent the filling from clumping, tennis balls can be added during washing. Use a detergent suitable for down or delicate fabrics.
• Wash on a delicate or wool cycle at a maximum of 30°C
• Do not use fabric softener
• Spin at a maximum of 600 rpm
• Lay the coat flat to dry
• Shake the coat vigorously several times during drying to prevent the filling from clumping
  

Choosing the right size

We recommend double-checking your dog’s back length in the size chart before choosing a size.

If your dog falls between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size for a more comfortable fit.
